Active Community Program
Pemba Alive’s aim is to supply the local community with the tools they need to create their own future – on their terms.
The Pemba Alive program is striding to support, help educate their young and help the local people to preserve this unique place for future generations.
The project started as an initiative from local people living nearby The Manta Resort. Beside of the Manta Resort the project has been supported by Resort360, Resort Investors and Oxygène Pemba.
Pemba alive is a tool to start creating the link and co-operation between the local community on Pemba Island and the new tourist sector.
It is important once more to point out that Pemba Alive is a project on the local’s terms.
